Brass tapes
This copper and zinc alloy is used in many fields including the chemical and mechanical industry, in the thermo-sanitary field and in the production of electrical equipment.
Brass types with higher percentages of zinc, above 25-30%, have higher mechanical characteristics. The 28% type is used for cartridges and ammunition.
- OT 63 Alloy with 37% of Zn offering the greatest ease of both hot and cold processing
- OT 67 33% Zn alloy recommended for laminates intended for deep-drawn items, springs and pipes.
